Can anybody identify this plant please.

Bought last year in a pot with violas and ajuga   I expected it to die over winter but it has come back lovely.  Thanks

    Thank you, that’s most helpful.  I have just read that it spreads rapidly and is best kept in a pot to stop the spread.
