Made me laugh...but my sense of humour is quite warped.

We found that the easiest way  to drop certain customers who we had been doing work for but no longer liked or wanted to work for them was to push up the price.......

A lot of things to factor into a hourly rate /job rate price .If I’m on a local job (within 20 mins  travel time ) then I’d charge £15p.h +extra if taking waste etc and will do all aspects of garden work/maintenance .
minimum price  25£ . for mowing lawns then it’s a job rate price but I try and avoid those jobs anyway and only do mowing usually now if it’s part of a general tidying job .

Most people  charge 20-25£ an hour near here But some of them are not the quickest and waste time chatting and some are actually a bit clueless and know very little about plants or doing work correctly but charge enough money, probably a similar story everywhere

There is typically two types  of gardeners  as-well  -those which mostly just do hedge&lawn maintenance etc and the easier stuff or will pretend they know how to do it all etc
and the ones which know there plants and  know when is best for pruning/cutting back and very capable with the more technical stuff .
