I don't think your cat is likely to damage your hostas @Elfer I've never known that to happen, we have quite a few hostas and the neighbour has cats and ours are fine ... best not introduce him to @Hostafan1 tho ... they might not get on 😉

I think that in this case, the cat and the hostas both belong to @Elfer who seems to be doing what's needed to control his/her cat ... it's not as if the query relates to damage caused by other people's cats ... so really I don't think there's any point in berating Elfer for damage done by other people's pets , particularly given the title of this thread 😂
