Star Jasmine

I have just bought a star jasmine which I have planted in a container. I have noticed that all the new growth is yellow. There are green leaves at the base of the plant. Is this right? Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you.

    I bought one in autumn and its the same, growth but the leaves are yellow. I'm interested to see if anyone knows about this. I gave it a feed anyway just in case.
