Daphne Odora

Will I regret planting a daphne odora in a bed under a window ie should I be worried having daphne roots so close to the house?  What potentially 1 metre high shrubs are safe near a house foundations?  Many thanks

    Should not be a problem.

    Ours for over 20 years gave up the ghost this year.
    Very sad as it was a superb plant.
    It wasn't very near the house but we could see it from the front room.
    Beautiful plant.
