Overwintered Kale flowering

Hi.
I grew kale last year and thought I'd chance keeping it for next year to see what happens...

It's grown a lot in height but it's all flowers now.

Is it worth keeping and will grow leaves or should I just remove it to use the veg patch space for something else?

It has done its job. Pull it out now, shred and add to the compost heap.  Don't grow brassicas in the same space this year to avoid the chance of club root getting a hold.

You can eat the flowers just like broccoli though yours are a bit far gone for that :p

Tried that with ours but maybe a bit too late.  Not good and we had loads of purple sprouting by then anyway.  Dug up the kale and gave it to the chooks who stripped the plants bare of leaves and flowers.  They've had all the PSB now too.
