Euonimus

Good morning, ladies and gentlepersons

Got this euonimus and was wondering if someone could confirm or deny that this specimen is reverting.  Thanks

Yes, some branches do appear to have reverted to plain green.  Follow the green leaved branches back to a point where they join wood which is carrying variegated leaves and cut there.  Euonymus are tough shrubs and can take hard pruning now (or at any time), if you don't mind losing this year's flowers.  If the shape is odd after removing the reverted sections, then prune the rest to make a better shape.  It will grow back vigorously, so keep an eye out for any plain green shoots and cut those out as they appear.  There is usually only one or two reverted branches when this happens - the whole shrub can't revert, so no need to replace.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Thanks, Bob.  I'll check over the shrub and see how much will need to be cut back.  It has been in the ground for a while but the owner is not a garden person!!
