Transplanting Acer Plamatums

Last year I planted 3 acres (orange dream, Deshojo and osakasuki) they were all 20 litre plants in size so I assume c.3-4 years in age. Unfortunately where they are planted they catch the midday sun and all their top leaves have already burnt and crisped. I am considering moving them to a shadier part of the garden late autumn/early winter. Does anyone have tips/pointers to help me not kill them in a move? Thanks

If they're planted, it's better to leave until autumn, when they're dormant, although in cool wet areas, it would be possible to do it at any time if you're confident. They won't have become much more established if they've only been there a year  :)
Well soaked before and after planting, and a mulch to help retain moisture. Bark is excellent, but compost is also fine. They don't really need much other than that, although you can add a little BF&B on planting if you like, and an occasional feed in the growing season with an appropriate food or liquid seaweed is ideal, although not vital if the soil is good.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
