Hi this is appearing all over in my newly inherited border and I'm not sure whether to leave it or dig it out?

That looks like a vetch ... there are native ones and introduced garden types. Some are grown as a green manure.

Thank you I think that is definitely it! I think it might be too invasive for my perennial border though.

Yes it’s more of a wildflower, or some types are grown on farms as forage and the seeds can get into compost.
It’s pretty tho and liked by bumble bees so great fof wildflower patches.
