Salix query

Hi we have 2 Salix. One is approximately 10 years old and the other around 8 years. They’ve always bloomed at the same time. This year one hasn’t at all though there is new growth and  the twigs are red with little buds on them. We aren’t great gardeners so wondered if anyone could shed any light on this. Keeping everything crossed that we haven’t lost one of them. The branches are still very green under the bark. Thanks in advance

It's been unusually dry and salix are willows and you have them in a raised bed witha  fence providing rain shadow.  Willows need lots of water so I suggest you water, water, water.    15 L each per day till you get enough rain to soak the soil deep down.
