Rose tree advice

Hi, Can someone please let me know if my rose tree has died. It was still flowering and the green leaves but then the past few weeks everything has went brown! I just planted these trees in May last year and have been gorgeous and still flowering when I thought it would be too cold,  so looking for some advice as to what has happened to this one. Thanks

    ..totally dead from top to bottom, sorry...  the interstem is dead, that's why your rose - the top part - also died..

    ...usual reasons would be freezing conditions, or dessication caused by drought, drying winds.. the 'trunk' may need protection in some areas..  looking at the compost in the container, I suspect it was caused by the root system drying out..
