Urgent- Apple Seedling's Stem Becoming Brown

Recently, my apple seedling's stem is turning brown. I have grown this seedling for about a month. Here are some photos of my plant.
My soil has great drainage. Is this a normal stage of growth of apple seedling? Or is it going to die off (I don't hope so). Please help
