Dicentra, bleeding heart.

My bleeding heart has flowered beautifully this year, and has grown to at least twice it’s size as compared to the last two years, however the flowers are already going over and the first of the leaves are starting to show yellow. There is still a lot of new growth, will this also bear flowers or do you think it will just be more leaves?

In the two proceeding years I only got one flush of flowers but the overall plant was also significantly smaller.
Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.

You might be lucky, but they aren't repeat flowerers.
Mine all got caught by frosts just as the buds were appearing, so no flowers at all this year.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Mine are mush too @Fairygirl.
First time this has happened here so I can't complain, it's been a funny old year weather-wise.
I expect them to recover, but so far they're still sulking.

Yes  @Bee witched - temps were high enough in early April to produce buds. They don't usually have buds that early. C'est la vie  :)
