Potted orchids

I have a brown stem orchid that is not blooming
What can I  do to help

    welcome to the Forum.
    Stems usually turn brown AFTER flowering , so chances are that stem will never flower again. Cut it off and wait for another new, green, flowering stem to develop.

    Depends on what orchid it is.
    Can you attach a photo?

    I put . mine away somewhere cool, for a Holiday, let them have a rest for ,6 weeks then they kick into life again
