Purple Smoke Bush

My Purple Smoke Bush does not look normal. Please look at the photo image.
New leaves are faded, they almost look white. Both my plants one in the soil and the other in the pot have same issue. Please help and thank you.

    Lots of plants are suffering weather damage.  A cold, dry April has meant they are late to put on leaves and then the soft new foliage gets bleached by very strong sunlight.

    I suspect that's what your problem is and all you can do is wait and see.   Give it to the end of June and then prune back any dead stems to a good leaf node.  Make sure it doesn't go thirsty in hot dry spells.  Cross fingers.
