I have four garden pots all starting to shoot - one with about a foot of growth now. Four pots inside on a sunny window sill with new tubers, all have good growth on and will be potted on and hardened off next week. I will try taking tuber cuttings from all of them.
I followed Nanny Beach advice and covered mine with a cardboard box to keep them dark as nothing had been appearing. I now have one which has come on really well and the other two have one shoot each. They are in an unheated greenhouse. I wondered if I did the right thing taking them out from the dark after just one shoot growing. Fingers crossed.
