I have forgotten what someone said, should I plant marigolds with cabbage to keep the cabbage whites away? or was it something totally different.

Apparently, the roots of the marigolds attract nematodes but nobody knows what happens next.

The cabbage plants on my allotment were crawling with caterpillars last year and I got plenty of unsolicited advice but in the end I decided I prefer butterflies to cabbage so li just left them and now I buy my cabbages.

    This keeps cabbage whites away
