I don’t have the answer but I have a similar question so I’m interested to see responses.

Also if anyone has a Passion flower covering a wall and is willing to share photos, I would love to see how it looks in reality. Couldn’t find many photos online of this plant in the UK in gardens.

    Thanks..

How big is the wall?! One happy passion flower planted in the ground could eat the house. Our neighbours in the UK had one the other side of the fence and we were constantly battling to keep it under control on our side.  Restricted in a pot they would be less vigorous but that’s probably a good thing if you have four. Not sure about pot size, but probably a reasonable size, say 40cm. How rampant depends on your location too, we were in the South, in the North of the UK they might be more polite.

No picture, I'm afraid but my daughter's last house had one that was a monster and covered a shed with no difficulty at all and seeded like mad. I had one in a container, a VERY big container and that did limit it but it still covered the wall of my greenhouse and had to go, in the end. One point, daughter's soil light and sandy and position sheltered; my soil heavy clay and site windy. Mine wouldn't survive winter outdoors.

I’m in Essex with clay soil and my white Passion flower was planted in the ground last year. Was lovely but didn’t survive the winter though.  It also refused to scramble”up” always going off horizontally and twining round everything that got in it’s way
