Eryngium wilting

Evening everyone

I planted my new eryngium a couple of days ago and it began wilting the next day. I watered and it picked up, but now it’s back wilting again? The soil appears moist enough so I can’t think what’s wrong?

    I think that’s an Echinops? They dont like being move, best left to self seed or multiply, give it time, lots of rain coming to water it in.

    Well the rain we had certainly helped! :smile: it’s now looking a bit happier. Ah it’s an Echinops? Whoops! The person who gave it to me told me it was Sea Holly 😂

    Oh well, we all make mistakes, I’m useless at ID’ing plants unless I have them in my garden.  And those thugs certainly are in my garden.  I’ve even taken a pick axe to them, given up now, let them live😀
