Is this tomato blight?

I know you are going to tell me off, I started tomatoes way too early and won't do that again next year...

Sowed these late January and kept inside for ages, then had them in polytunnel under a fleece for a few weeks. They tops of them all look ok but bottoms are kinda purple / yellow looking.

Not sure if this is from the cold , under watering or over watering or just old age. Could it be early blight? There aren't really spots as such which I believe are blight symptoms.

I do have a second lot growing inside because I realised a while ago about being too early.

Should I leave them be,cut all these dodgy leaves off, or get rid of plants and put new ones in a couple of weeks? I'm near Sheffield.
Thanks

I don't think they are blight. I think the plants have just been suffering from cold. The top leaves look healthy. I would pick off the tattiest looking bottom leaves, pray for some warm sunny weather and feed them as soon as there is a sign of a flower bud.

I'm not going to tell you that's too early,I usually sow mine in January, this year late for me 5.2, some of mine have been relegated to a cold green house, the beefsteaks to a frost free because t have lost all my window sills dining table, even the chairs! I can't see any brown blotches on the leaves. There is a chart on line you can check blight in your area. Keep the plants well ventilated,I've never seen it in my area, friends 20 miles away did about 4 years ago.

    I don't think it's blight either - just temperature/weather related.

Compare the plants in the greenhouse with those outside in a couple of weeks and then decide which to keep.

Oh phew thanks everyone. I'll get rid of those leaves then and probably plant the second lot next to them to compare sowing time results.
