Can I divide these leucanthemum plants?

Hi,

This photo is of a leucanthemum plant I potted up around Sept. 2020, grown from seed. There seems to be a few plantlets now. I am planning to plant them on the ground soon. Can I divide and plant them in separate locations? Or are they too young for that? Thanks in advance.


Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.

And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

    I'd be inclined to split them and pot up individually. They're lovely healthy plants, but it might be a bridge too far to plant straight out as they're probably a bit tangled, and in most areas, ground's still quite cold. If it had been another month forward, it would  have been fine. 
    They'll establish and fill pots quite quickly, and you should be able to plant out in a month or six weeks, with good sturdy plants. 
    If you're in a mild area, you may want to risk it though  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Thanks @Fairygirl for your advice. I'll split and pot them up separately. Now, have to find smaller pots though, which is a bigger issue as all my pots are now fully utilised. May be I'll wait until some other plants go into the ground and then split these leucanthemum.
