Repotting chilli plants

I am about to repot my chilli plants. I noticed the lower stem near the soil level seems to have small roots. Should I repot burying some part of the stem as you would do with tomatoes?

Yes, you can bury the stem a little when you re-pot them.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
