Can you post a photo of the damage ?
This year the flowers have been hit by late frosts, hard winds, sudden downpours and now more winds and rain so they have not lasted as long as usual. However, they will flower again once this first flush has dropped all its petals and they'll carry on flowering all summer and all the insects they attract bring in the birds such as swallows, swifts and house martins.
Leave the bugs alone but, if you can, water and feed your wisteria to encourage more flowers and don't forget the July and February pruning.
