Are these new buds on my Clematis Armandii?

All the white flowers have dropped off now but I’ve noticed there’s some brown bud looking things? And also some green what look like seeds heads with white bits on? Should I do anything with these? Thank you!

    Is it in the ground?
Are you seeing any new growths apart from what maybe new flowers buds?
They do look like new flowers but getting rather late for them to develop.

@bertrand-mabel thanks for your reply! Yes it’s in the ground. Yes as it’s an early flowering plant and has already flowered, I thought it was strange! What did you mean by new growth? 😊 I’ll take another photo 🙂👍

Hi @bertrand-mabel you can see the brown buds in top photo… or what I presume to be buds. In the second photo, I’m guessing these are seed pods? My new growth, there are small leaves at bottom and some higher up, wasn’t sure if this was what you meant? As it’s evergreen I presumed it would keep growing anyway?

@mikeymustard yes it’s a possibility! Had warm sun, rain, cold, hail, the little today! The poor thing probably hadn’t got a clue what’s going on! 😌

@Songbird-1 thank you. Should I leave them on? Or collect them and sow? X
