Window feeders

Hi all.

Hope you can help me on my first post.
I have a window feeder positioned about 1.5m high with direct access to shrubs etc. Its only attracted sparrows so far (I'm very happy to see them!)

I was wondering if I could put another one over the top of it to possible attract a larger variation of birds?

I'm not able to put one anywhere else on the window as the husband moans its blocking the (admittedly nice) view.

Anyone tried this successfully?

  • To expand - my thinking is 1.5m may be too low for other birds, but its successful for the sparrows, so am reluctant to move it. Plus its only a diddy one holding 2 at a time, I'd like to increase the types of food
