I sowed some Californian poppy seeds. Are any of these the poppy seedlings ?

    None of those are Californian Poppy seedlings. 
    look for silvery, thread like leaves.

    Any idea what they are before I get rid of them as weeds.

    There's a nasturtium in the bottom pic. The top one looks vaguely poppy-ish but not Eschscholzia (california poppy). Maybe a Welsh poppy. But then again, could be a weed.
    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

    Those are not California Poppies, which are an altogether different genus and are not really poppies at all.

    those look like Icelandic poppies. but I'm no expert

    Sorry my picture is not great. The poppies on the right are a standard poppy. The poppies on the left are what i thought were Californian poppies but after googling what was said above it turns out they are probably icelandic poppies. So full marks to Hostafan1 :) Every day is a school day. But i still think the first pic looks like some sort of poppy  :p
