Help!

Morning all, I recently bought a few tomato and strawberry plants from a local gardening centre. I was told to leave the on the window sill till the mid to end of this month which I have done, watering daily. I have gotten up this morning to a couple of flowers on the strawberries and what looks like buds on the tomatoes. I’m planning to plant these in my raised beds. What should I do? Thanks

Nothing to do. They’ll be fine. 😊

@Dovefromabove won’t it affect the growth? Or mess anything up when transplanting to the garden? There’s still another 2.5-3weeks before I’m looking to put them outside

    No, it’s perfectly normal.

You could start hardening off the strawberries now ... put them outside during the day and in at night for ten days then plant them out. Strawberries are perfectly hardy and many stay out in the garden all winter.

Hopefully you can start hardening the tomatoes off in about ten days or so ... but tomatoes aren’t hardy so check the weather forecast and ask us if you’re not sure. If your tomatoes are outgrowing their pots you should pot them on and give them a cane for support.
