Rex Begonias are suffering!

Hi guys,

I’m having a little bit of trouble with my indoor Rex begonias lately. The leaves seem to be crisping and turning yellow (pics attached). I keep them in a tray with pebbles on the bottom to try and increase the humidity for them and keep them on a window sill which doesn’t get a lot of direct sunlight.

can anyone help as to why the leaves are crisping/ yellowing? I thought it was because I’ve been watering them too much so I have tried to leave them for longer and I’ve only put a little bit of water in the tray to increase the humidity. They’re still throwing out new leaves and one of them even flowered about a month ago so I’m not sure where I’m going wrong!

Any advice is greatly appreciated! :)

They are shade lovers, mine overwinter in a cold green house, they are behind other plants so they don't get any direct sun at all. Summer, they go under a tree, very shady

Have you fed them, at all? @bluebelle96LLgTSmSP
  • @Fire I haven’t as yet, was considering getting some plant food pellets to put in each pot but wasn’t sure which would be best. Do you think they just need a bit of help?

I was just wondering. Maybe back them up from the window a bit as the air is coldest there.
