Bamboo turned yellow maybe dying

Phyllostachys aureosulcata
I have this bamboo growing in a large pot the last year which was doing well and I decided to plant in the garden and a few weeks later its colour has dramatically changed from lovely green leaves to yellow. I have used compost and lawn feed but it looks almost dead now,is all lost? Any advice please ?

Or could it have been in a more sheltered position when it was in a pot, and possibly in the new position the frosts have damaged the foliage?
