This weed dominating our paddock...

Please can anyone identify this weed? It is taking over.

    Looks like burdock. It does have edible uses if you like a bit of foraging.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    I think that’s Burdock ... Arctium lappa ... we used to use the huge leaves as parasols when we were children. 

    Its hooked seedcases can be found tangled in the belly fur of Springer Spaniels et al.

    Gah. Our collie has a big bushy tail and if he gets burdock pods in there the only way they're coming out is with scissors.
