Sweetcorn leaves browning at ends

Hello all.

I am new to gardening having moved from a city box and would be grateful if someone could help me identify what I'm doing wrong here...  I have some sweetcorn that I've grown from seed but the leaves have started to go yellow/brown at the tips; and split.

Does anyone know what might be causing this?  All I can find online is 'Potassium deficiency' but that's unlikely.

Sorry, I'm not sure why the pictures have come out sideways!!

Thanks
Rob

They might just be cold or hungry.  They need warm temps, even at night, and plenty of nutrients and water too.

Where are you keeping them and what compost have you used to grow them on?

This info from the RHS on growing sweetcorn may be useful:

Thanks Obelixx.  I'm currently keeping them indoors on a windowsill (an exceptionally big window) as nighttime temperatures are unusually still cold here.  They're planted in 'miracle-gro fruit and veg compost', and have been watered (the compost has never dried).  They were planted from seed about 3 weeks ago.
