Lilly of the valley

I have been growing for four years now in a pot Lilly of the Valley but it never seems to flower. It was in the ground and nothing and the last two years it’s been transferred to a pot. What am I doing 😑 wrong. Any help anyone!!!

It looks really crowded, perhaps too many struggling for nutrients.

It's not really a plant that's suited to pot culture.
It can also take a few years for the pips to settle in and flower. Once happy, it'll spread. Many people find it invasive.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I agree.  These plants like rich, moist soil in full or part shade so a dry pot on a terrace isn't going to be their idea of heaven.   I would soak that pot in a bucket to moisten it all thoroughly then divide up the clump and plant the resulting divisions in a cool, shady, moist spot.  If necessary, improve the texture of the soil by adding some well rotted garden compost or leaf mould as that will encourage them to settle and spread and eventually flower.
