What a eating my dahlia tubers?

Hello. I started my new Sarah Raven dahli tubers off inside with fresh compost. During reporting I noticed the tubers have holes in them and these white worms with black insides showing through their transparent skin. How can I get rid of them?

Thanks in advance.

Difficult to see but by the empty skin they look like vine weevils, they love dahlia tubers.
    The beetle itself is black.

Thanks Lyn. No idea how they managed to find these pots inside. Nowhere’s safe!!!

No where’s safe from the vine weevils, considering they can’t fly, only walk, I’ve found one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom.
They bury into the tubers then live on them all winter,  when I dry my tubers off for keeping, I check every nook and cranny, any suspecting hole I poke a little stick in, often brought out a veevil  grub.
