Tulip Fire isn’t likely with new bulbs grown in containers of new compost.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

No, I think mine came from old bulbs I had lifted. Does Tulip Fire look similar to the photos posted?

It’s frost on the leaves, and drought causing the flower buds to dry up. It’s not the suppliers’ fault, it’s just that in many places the temperature has been around 0 at night for four weeks and there has been no rain for 6-8 weeks depending on where you are.

It's quite confusing isn't it as you are told tulips bulbs are prone to rot in wet soil.
    Always next year 🤞

I plant up my tulip pots in a mix of 50% MPC 50% grit.  So even if I have to water them regularly they don’t sit in wet soil.

Weather here has been pretty much as @Cambridgerose12 describes it, so lessons to learned for next year I think.  Just hoping Shrewsbury Flower show will be on this year and I can go back to choosing my bulbs in person rather than by email!

It's disappointing to find that P Nyssen don't quote VAT in their prices but add it in at the end, at checkout, though the office is registered in Manchester. :/
