Rhubarb problem

hi all, 
My rhubarb X3 ( 4-5 years old ) is ok, But I have 2 stems that are hollow. They stand around 2.5 feet high. Do i cut that off, ground level??  Every stick looks ok at the moment. Thank you.

    Can we have a picture, maybe they are flowers stems. Did you watch Monty,he said yesterday,never cut rhubarb,only pull

    They will be flower stems and you must cut those down to stop the plant going to seed.

    Thanks - I got them 3  stems off and  the  rhubarb  as  gone  mad,  Maybe  its  way  of saying  thank you,
