A further question...Photinia???  Whatever, like all the other plants we need water and warm weather!  I don't think any of these plants are dead (we all seem to have the same problems with various plants/shrubs) and once the warmer, wetter weather comes in, so will the new foliage.

So much damage to so many plants in our garden but we can only hope that these plants will come back.

Nearly all my shrubs have been crisped up at the edges. I wouldn't remove anything until the frost is over and the plants have time to recover, as most will. Only then would I remove damaged growth.
  • I have a very sad looking hydrangea  :/

I trimmed back some of the damage, and now green foliage which was looking good is turning too - despite temperatures not dropping as low as they did a couple of weeks ago. Really hoping it recovers.
