Sprouting bulbs

Hello, I was given about 100 bulbs ranging from daffodils to tulips to alliums (all jumbled up and some sprouting). I don’t want to lose any of them - is it best to plant them in the ground (it’s nearly May!) or store them in a net in the dark until late autumn? Thank you.

Get them in the ground. They won't keep until Autumn planting time. The flowering will obviously be late and might be poor. Give them a few drinks with liquid tomato food or similar (diluted as per instructions) after flowering and the daffs and alliums should be fine next year. Most tulips aren't so good the second year but give them the same treatment and see how you get on.
