@Atacama , I've got one of those small wooden/polycarbonate growhouses but mine was half the price. However I don't expect it to last long - maybe five years if I'm lucky. To be honest mine's now full of junk.
Yes Lizzie, I'm keen to source or create something that goes the distance ideally. I don't mind investing the time (and cost) once but less keen do it repeatedly.
The small wooden unit I posted a picture of originally looks tidy but gets very poor reviews of build quality. To find something in a decent build and hardwood even at three times the cost would be fine with me. Alas not so easy to find. But is early days I guess.
Supply and lead times is also woeful were things that are close to form are found. Seems the research will be 2021 and the actual delivery 2022 at current progress.
The concept though I'm certain will produce results if what I've seen on the basic uncovered green wall is anything to go by.
If you want a new greenhouse at the moment you have to wait 28 to 30 weeks on most websites. I think it's the supply of aluminium that's the problem..... There isn't any!
I'm looking for a greenhouse myself at mo and i'm not waiting that long so i'm looking on Farcebooks (not a typo) Marketplace for one... There's plenty to choose from. Some are free, some are asking little money for them. Buyer dismantles and takes away usually. My own problem is finding one reasonably close to where i live.
Don't like Farcebook, love Farcebooks Marketplace for finding things though. With a little patients you'll find most things at a very good price indeed.
With a whole greenhouse to work with and a few extra nuts n bolts, brackets from B&Q it should be possible to construct something. Afterwards take any remaining aluminium to your nearest scrap metal merchant and weigh it in for cash.
You could have a wall mounted greenhouse for free and put cash in your pocket too. The scrap value of aluminium is at a record high.

100% agree .... re FB and building one.
To be honest we tend to fabricate most of our own stuff most of the time. I'm not sure it works out cheaper but often better.
This one is a little different as it's the last part of a massive garden refurb and there's a bit of me just wants get it done but as you say the insane lead times.
I will have a look now to see what failed projects or damaged GH's can be found on ebay. Don't mind a drive to collect. If I can find something then another project lined up :-)
Failing that then it's a 20-30 week lead time for next year.
There are plenty of 2x4 / 6 lean to units available (but with the long lead time) but 2ft is just a tad to deep to fit in with our scheme ... the genuinely wall mounted one off the two west web site feels the best fit for us. If I could find a couple of those or the materials to fabricate them then that would be great.
Let me know if you stumble across any mountains of materials in your travels :-)

it’s a bit pricey but nicely designed. Not sure about the wheels though.
A little pricey given we need two but all the same a very good fit.
Alas the same availability issues we see all round but all the same a very good option for us that one.
I'm going to be looking at that in more detail and will see if we can hunt a couple down elsewhere.
Spot on, thanks for sharing the details of that.
