Windtunnel issue

Hello, we are in a new build and down the side of the house is a windtunnel which swirls in the garden and generally makes it a unpleasant space. Any ideas on how we can reduce this so that our garden is a pleasant environment? thank you

Can't see what you can do as you need access to the gate and you have no room to plant a hedge as a windbreak.
Our new build garden is nearly always windy as we have too many solid walls so nothing to filter the wind as a fence might. In fact I don't think we have a sheltered spot at all.

    You need one of these!

You could try a trellis screen at right angles to the wall (by the side of the black bin,) perhaps with a shade loving plant like ivy in a pot at its base. You need something to break up the wind so there's not as much turbulence reaching the garden proper. It's difficult to see from the photo just how much space you've got available though.
