Sloe Gin query

Our homemade Sloe Gin has gone a bit viscous at the bottom of the bottle.  It was only made last Winter.  We presume this is just a bit of residue from the Sloes, and that it’s safe to drink.  Has anyone else had this happen?

It always happens with mine ... I just don’t drink the dregs. I’m still here 😉 🍷 cheers!

I love making fruit gins and vodkas. You can strain it through an old fashioned coffee filter or a couple of layers of muslin, or as Dove suggested pour it carefully. Either way I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
