Yellowish lawn

I cut my lawn yesterday and today it looks a slight yellow brown colour in patches is this normal or should I do something with it?
Thanks in advance!

How much did you cut off? If you take off a lot at once it can go like that, but it should recover.

It wasn’t a lot I took off, I only done it to this length 3 weeks ago! Having a lawn is new to me as I’ve just moved in to the property, and my last garden was all concrete lol so not sure if I need to water regularly or the proper way to care for a lawn! 🥴

Cut little and often. An established lawn can turn yellow/brown in dry weather but will start growing again and green up when the rain comes. You can water if you want, to keep it green, but you don't have to.
