Slugs and snails have finished their buffet, remains are still good for my vase

Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

I have recently found that perennial sweet peas last far long as a cut flower than they last on the plant. These flowers started fushia pink when cut and then morphed in mauve while cut and are now turning to cream over a week. The tendrils are very pretty.

I despair of the plants, rather, as the leaves get very scraggy and mildew easily - even with loads of water. They seem to suffer with too much water and too little. 🙄
