Cucumber plant dying

Hi,

Last week I planted my cucumber plants outside....

They now look like they're dying.

I think I may have planted them out too soon as the weather was still near freezing over night but warm in the day.

Will they recover or am I better off starting again and planting new seeds?

It is way too early for planting cucumbers outdoors, at least a month yet till the threat of frost is gone. I would start again but maybe try potting your plants up again and keeping indoors to see if they recover.

There's time to start again. I wouldn't bother trying to save those ones.

I sowed mine yesterday ... I'd start again if I were you ... there's plenty of time yet before it's safe to plant them out.
    Good luck  :)

Too early yet for cucumbers, even down here.  They germinate quickly in a warm place and you should have beautiful cucumber seedlings for planting out at the end of May.

I have sown mini cucumbers this year and a few long "Alan".  We like cold cucumber soup during the summer and ( for @Dovefromabove ) Tzatziki!!

May all your cucumbers be sweet and crunchy!!
A good hoeing is worth two waterings.
