Blue bells

When we first moved into the house, the garden was covered with hundreds of bluebells.
To clear space for two large and deeper borders, we turned up every inch of the ground and discarded the bluebell bulbs.

Seven years on, there are some sprouting, which we appreciate.

We would still like to dig out some that are recent.

For fear of bluebell-overtake if we are careless.
(if these are English less-invasive genus, we will be OK).

How do we know the difference between Spanish invasive bluebell from English less-invasive bluebell?

Understandably, some remnants from 7 years ago are very deep into the ground to be dug out.

Will appreciate feedback and advice.
