Wild flowers

My wild flowers are beginning to flower.  I planted these a couple of years ago and now they self seed

    @jamesholt that looks great 😍 Such a great habitat for your native beasties and brilliant for wildlife. Really top work! It's something we'd love to do, albeit on a smaller scale.
    Can you share - what sort of preparation did you have to do to the area before planting the seed?

    I mowed the grass short and scratched the soil before throwing the seed.  I have tried to grow bluebonnet.  Its the state flower of texas but haven't had success in growing it.  I have spread the seed but haven't had success yet.  Thank you for the kind comments

    Wish you could hear the noise tonight.  We had a really big rain that has since passed but has really got the wildlife fired up.  The frogs and the peacocks are the loudest.  The fish are really feeding and splashing around

    the flowers are almost done probably going to mow them in june
