Help me please! Heathers dying

Hi everyone,
I brought some heathers last summer from the market and they were doing well. So I decided to repot them and since then they’ve dried up. They were in individual pots and I decided to put them in a trough (with drainage) instead but the look so sad. The soil I used to repot was just the normal compost soil 😒. Is there any hope for them? Any suggests would be greatly appreciated.
