Advice please

Hi. Any advice as to what I should plant into a Belfast Sink?

    They come in various dimensions including different depths.  How big is yours and where will you be placing it?  Sun or shade?

  • Thanks for replying. It’s 3 foot long, 1 ft deep and 2 ft wide. This is all approximately. Position full sun, in South facing garden.

    Either a dry garden planted with alpines if you can keep the drainage strong and use a gritty compost - https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?pid=941

    or else a bog garden with poor drainage and maybe a load of things like pitcher plants and other carnivorous plants - https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/types/carnivorous 
    Be sure to select hardy specimens so they can stay out all year.
