Salix flamingo, No pink tips

Hello everyone, please may I ask for some advice regarding my salix flamingo?. It's the grafted type. I bought it last year and it's in a large pot and doing well. I pruned it in earlier in march, and it's looking really healthy although there's no sign of the lovely pink tips. Is there something I should be doing to encourage this? Any advice would be gratefully received. Thank you. 🙂

A photo of the plant might give us some clues. 😊

I've just checked ours and it's the same.  Strong new growth but no pink tips which are normally in the Spring around here at least.  No idea why it should be different this year as I treat it exactly the same way every year.

  • Mine is still green, it always is at this time but it's pink in time for summer, way before autumn.
