Taking out the leaves of the bulbs as soon as they appear.. would they keep coming the next year? I know flowers probably won't but what about foliage?
From what I've seen of most bulbs, you'll need to dig them out if you want properly rid of them.
And even then there's always some that get missed.
Exactly this is what I did last year, dug out a lot. But then this year I got a whole bunch I missed, and its annoying to dig again because of plants around
Some parts I definitely gave up. There are lots and lots of muscari in my front garden and digging up just a small section takes ages. But they don't bother me much, it's mostly those in the back garden beds that bother me (fortunately they are not muscari)
