one of my new monstera leaves snapped!

so ive had my monstera plant for a while now but reacently one of her new leaves snapped off at the top while i was wiping it down 😫 i should definately be more careful but what should i do??

    Hi @rosa13janMOze49zU :) and welcome to the forum ... I know that it feels tragic and the moment, and probably looks it ... but try not to grieve ... chuck the old leaf away, there's nothing you can do about it (unless you use it in a modern-style flower arrangement for a week or so).  Your plant will recover and grow new leaves and it'll be fine.  :)

    If there's some leaf stalk left from the snapped leaf you should trim that back close to the main stem, but be careful not to damage the main growing point. If the whole top of the plant including the growing point as well as the new leaf came off, you could have a go at rooting it as a cutting and the main plant should grow out from lower leaf nodes.

    yeah it did snap very close to the leaf so i will try trimmimg it down, thanks for the advice😀

    thanks it does seem sad as shes been growing and healthy for a long time but i will try and be more careful next time! :)
